Upaya supports and invests in early stage social businesses that enable jobs or livelihood opportunities. This thematic focus intersects with businesses in sectors of Food & Agriculture, Waste Management/Circular Economy, Textile/Handicrafts/Sustainable Fashion, Rural Manufacturing and Skilling & Employability. Till date, we have invested in nine companies that have a positive impact on the environment, along with enabling livelihood opportunities for those in extreme poverty.
