What types of organizations are most prevalent, and where are their headquarters?

About 40% of the organizations supporting the green entrepreneurial ecosystem in India can be categorized as investors, of which slightly more are headquartered locally than internationally. Most other organizations, except for DFIs or donor agencies, are also headquartered locally

The vast majority (nearly 93%) of entrepreneurial support organizations have their local office spaces in the Southern, Northern, and Western regions combined. Only a meager number (7%) of organizations identified have offices in the country's Eastern, northeastern, and Central regions.

About one-third of organizations supporting green entrepreneurs in India work with early-stage ventures, while a substantial number (about a quarter) of them also support entrepreneurs in the growth stage. Mature and idea-stage ventures receive the least programmatic support.
